A note from Keelan

Hey,

I'm building Tero, a studio for the bath, and I'm looking for one person to build it with me. Someone with great taste, heaps of initiative and an itch to make things.

If anyone comes to mind, I'd love an intro. It's all here: what we've made, who's making it with us, where it's going, and the role.

A studio for the bath.

Sound, stories and spoken guidance, made to be heard in warm water. A mineral soak to run with it. And in time, a bath with the sound built into the vessel itself.

  • 01The appSoftware. Opens 1 November.
  • 02FATHOMConsumables, starting with a mineral soak. Pre-order from 1 November.
  • 03The bathHardware. In design.

The app is the ritual. The salts keep it going. The bath is where it leads.

01 · The appOpens 1 November

Made to be heard in warm water.

Spoken guidance and stories set over music, released the way records are, each one named and dated. Five families: sound, breath, words, attention and stillness. Nothing runs under twenty minutes, and every release ends before the water goes cold.

Membership is bought on the website, so it works in any country from the first day.

Home, in the app. Every cover is a cyanotype by Edd Carr, printed by hand and animated one print at a time.

A mineral soak for the long bath.

Four salts, unscented. The magnesium comes from the Zechstein, a sea that dried about 250 million years ago and now lies about 1,600 metres under Veendam in the Netherlands. Made with MSM in New South Wales, in a pouch and box designed by Caroline Beard.

Next in the range: oils, a candle and a signature scent of our own, then the objects around the bath.

One bath, one listener.

The long game: a single-person bath with the sound engineered into the vessel. It travels through the shell and the water, so a session is felt through the body as much as heard. Homes first, then private rooms in hotels, clubs and offices. The trademark, TERO IMMERSION™, is filed.

Where it's going

One house, three businesses.

Software that reaches any country on day one, consumables people come back for, and in time, a piece of hardware nobody else makes. Melbourne is where it starts.

The plan as it stands. The first members will tell us where Tero lands, and the order may change.

The roleMelbourne

Founding Head of Content.

The first person on Tero's marketing, and the seat that grows into our CMO as Tero goes global.

I'm after someone with high agency and an entrepreneur's instinct. You'd have full creative freedom to make what you think Tero should be making, and to run with it the way a founder would: make it, put it out, see what lands, go again. I hold the vision with you. You own the work.

What you'd make
  • StoryHow Tero tells its story: the ideas, the concepts and the creative direction, with me.
  • ShootFilm and photograph with me, with our artists and out in the world. The camera kit is here.
  • EditCut, design and caption it, with AI doing the heavy lifting.
  • ChannelsRun TikTok, Instagram and YouTube day to day.
  • AdsTurn what works into ads, and read what the numbers say.
  • CreatorsFind the creators and artists we should work with, approach them properly and look after them.
How you'd work

Everyone at Tero runs their own AI operating system, built with them in the first week: the brand law, the voice, our film and edit tools, and everything we've learned so far. It takes the repetitive work, so your time goes on the art, then on testing what lands and scaling what works.

Who you are
  • High agencySees what needs doing and does it before anyone asks.
  • Great tasteInto art, film, music, books or design, and can tell you why a brand is working.
  • A makerAlready shoots, edits or writes, and has work to show for it.
  • EntrepreneurialMaybe already building their own brand or project on the side.
  • Curious about AIQuick to learn and keen to try new tools.
  • Wants ownershipWould rather have the harder job with their name on it.
What you get
  • PaidWorking directly with me, with shares through an employee share plan for the right person.
  • FreedomFull creative freedom inside a brand with a clear point of view.
  • A world builtThe film, the artists, the brand system and the app, ready to make with.
  • Room to growInto leading Tero's marketing, and the team around it.
